The Parker Student Living, Tucson, AZ

The Parker is an eight-story residential student housing building constructed in 2021 consisting of 130 dwelling units including 482 beds with a gross floor area of 302,764 situated adjacent to the University of Arizona. The structure has two subterranean parking levels and a commercial condominium retail space.

Working on an accelerated timeframe, McClain Consulting provided pre-acquisition Property Condition Assessment services with an emphasis on mechanical, fire protection, and building envelope systems. Additional work on behalf of the client included intrusive testing to determine the cause and significance of façade efflorescence and fire life safety consultation to facilitate understanding and agreement between a potential lender and local fire inspection service company.
