St. Lukes Hospital, Pasadena, CA

A designated historic landmark by the City of Pasadena, St. Lukes Hospital consists of the original six-story hospital tower and six additions totaling 166,912 square feet. The reinforced concrete hospital tower was originally constructed in 1933 with numerous additions completed between 1945 and 1989. Unoccupied since 2002, the building is a frequent entertainment industry filming location for such movies as La La Land and Step Brothers.

Chuck McClain was born at St. Lukes, and thus was very excited when McClain Consulting was hired to perform a Property Condition Assessment at the facility during the mid-2000s.
